Our history
It was founded in the 50s as a small local artisan pottery shop and today is a family restaurant in the heart of Positano, a village on the Amalfi coast. We are a family of positano madly in love with handmade ceramics and good food. In 2023 we opened ''Don Benì'' where we have reconciled both our passions , preserving as much as possible the original appearance of the structure. The name comes from the original owner of the shop, Benito Carro . Every day we invest time and dedication so that our guests feel at home , trying to meet the demands of all.

Our country
Our facility is located in one of the most beautiful countries in the world, known as 'vertical country' because it has both mountain and maritime areas or even ' the crib' for the presence of small colorful houses characteristic of the place . Still others call it 'the jewel of the Amalfi coast ' for its breathtaking landscapes
Who is Benito?
Our structure has a long history behind it, as everything began in 1959 with Benito Carro to whom we pay all our respect . At the beginning it was a simple family-style ceramics shop, intimate and welcoming. Over the years we have followed his same path, safeguarding the commitment he supported.
Today our restaurant remains unchanged at that time maintaining all its uniqueness .
Our typical dishes
Our restaurant offers only local culture dishes, so you can immerse yourself in a unique experience. The products we offer are very fresh and fragrant, both for the first and second course. We have a wide choice, because we want you to feel free to eat what you like from the classic Sorrentini gnocchi then arriving at Scialatielli with the scent of the sea or in case you prefer the latter we can offer you a classic entrecôte grilled or a cutlet of Sorrento. Last but not least, we come to the desserts: it is definitely the taste of lemon as well as the caprese cake .
